Tattoo Pricing & Payment

Everyone is different, and all tattoos are unique. 

I've created a simple guide to how my pricing works for tattoos below. If you're looking for something but you're unsure of where your design would fit or suit, you can contact me right here.


I do not recommend any humanoid character pieces (with details in eyes/face) be done very small. If you are looking to have a character done, i normally recommend the face itself be at least 10cm in height/width - otherwise, over time your lines will blur into eachother and small details will end up looking like blobs.

This also goes for any character with small details (animals, flowers etc)








These are two examples of my own tattoos and how the smaller details have healed over time.


If i have an idea for your design that I think will work well, I'll let you know! I'll also recommend sizing and placement if you're unsure. This by no means, means that you have to take on that idea if you do not like it! 

Full day pieces and sleeve work can also be split into multiple sessions, so if you don't feel you are up to having a full day of tattooing or simply don't have the funds for it, please make sure you let me know in our conversation/your booking form, and we can work based on your needs!

Pricing

Sleeve or project work
Sleeves and large project pieces are my absolute favourite! Having clients return and getting to know them is such a wonderful experience.

For full arm and leg sleeves I estimate around 5-7 full day sessions (depending on detail, characters, content, pain tolerance.
 
My flate full day rate varies depending on location and events! See below:

Full Day (Home studio, Dark Forge Warners Bay): $1000
Full Day (Guest spot - any other studio that I travel to): $1100
Full Day (Expos and Conventions): $1300
 

Large/character pieces

Large colour character pieces
Standalone, large colour character pieces (usually around 20-30cm) take me a full day to create. This can vary depending on your skin, pain tolerance, detail and content in the tattoo.
 
My flate full day rate varies depending on location and events! See below:

Full Day (Home studio, Dark Forge Warners Bay): $1000
Full Day (Guest spot - any other studio that I travel to): $1100
Full Day (Expos and Conventions): $1300

Large Blackwork Character pieces
Standalone, large blackwork character pieces (usually around 20-30cm) take me between 4-5 hours. Depending on the piece, it can be up to a full day! This can also vary depending on your skin, pain tolerance, detail and content in the tattoo.
 
I have flat half day (4 hour) rates as well, please see below:

Half Day (Home studio, Dark Forge Warners Bay): $600
Half Day (Guest spot - any other studio that I travel to): $650
 

Smaller pieces

Detailed Colour pieces (10-20cmish)
Smaller pieces like this are still time consuimg!
Anything around this size I estimate to be done in a half day (4 hours) 
This can also vary depending on the content, detail and your pain tolerance.

Glitter Tattoos
Generally, glitter tattoos are something i only do in the 10-15cm range, due to the amount of time the glitter effect takes to do. 
Depending on your size and content, this can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.

Glitter style is not actually glitter, but instead it is created with hundreds of tiny dots of colours and whites! 
I usually quote pieces like this by size, but my normal rate is $170 per hour.

Small Colour work (10-15cmish)
Small colour work that is fairly simple (only a few colours/shades) usually take me around 1.5 - 3 hours to complete. 

These times can vary as with all pieces.

These pieces are also based on my hourly rate of $170/hour.

Small Blackwork/Manga Panel work
Pieces like this are normally the fastest and easiest to complete! Of course, as with all other types, time can vary depending on size, content, detail and pain tolerance. 

Small blackwork pieces (10-15cm ish) usually take me around 1.5 - 3 hours to complete. 

These pieces are also based on my hourly rate of $170/hour.
